Let me introduce myself
I am a mother and a teacher. I have been raising children and teaching kids for the past 25 years, and during that time I have seen certain behavior issues arise again and again. After many years of helping parents* address these issues, I have some insights I’d like to share in this blog.
Parenting is not an easy job. It is a job that requires consistency and selflessness every single day. Successful parenting, I believe, requires a balance of love, communication and guidance.
Putting that idea into action can be tough and perplexing. we all need help from time to time.
My hope in sharing my ideas is to offer you a new approach, a different point of view, or to just help you take a breath before reacting.
I will keep my blogs short. As a parent myself, I know parents don't have tons of free time to read! But a little help in the midst of chaos can be a gift. I sincerely hope that something in my blogging is a gift to you.
I wish you peace and calm, and remind you to be proud of every effort you make to do your best as a parent.
